Protest march in Joypurhat demanding fair share of water with India

The Jaipurhat anti-discrimination student movement held a protest march and rally to demand a fair share of Bangladesh's international river water with India and to protest against deliberate opening of dams and flash floods.

Hasibul Haque Saljid, coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement Joypurhat, presided over the rally organized at the central mosque square on Thursday (August 22).

KM Sajin, Shaheen Faisal Rafi, Samitul Islam, Ehsan Ahmed, SM Hridoy and others spoke. Ahead of the rally, a protest march by students of anti-discrimination student movement Joypurhat took out from the Ramdeo Bajla Government High School premises and circled the city.
