RAB arrested 8 members of Kishore gang group in a raid in Station Road area of Ishwardi, Pabna.
They were arrested at midnight on Saturday (March 23). At this time, 6 mobile phones were seized from them.
The arrested are Zobair Rahman (17) son of Shakeel Rahman of Kacharipara area of Ishwardi municipality, Rohan Hossain (21) son of Abdur Rahim of Ambagan area, Al Amin (17) son of Javed Ali of the same area, Bappi Hossain (16) son of deceased Liton Hossain, Anisur Rahman of the same area. Son Rakib Hossain (17), Shihab Hossain (16) son of Jahangir Hossain of Kadamtala area of the city, Mehrab Hossain (17) son of Murad Hossain and Tahsin Ali (17) son of Hasan Ali of East Tanki Eidgah Road area.
RAB-12, CPC-2 Pabna Company Commander Major Ehteshamul Haque Khan gave this information in a press release on Sunday (March 24) morning.
According to the press release, the members of the juvenile gang had been carrying out mischief in different areas of Ishwardi for a long time. They were involved in various misdemeanors including theft, dacoity, banditry, robbery, drug consumption on the streets and in different streets of the city.
RAB raided Ishwardi Station Road area and arrested them on the complaint of locals. After preliminary interrogation, they have been handed over to Ishwardi police station for further legal action.
