A mobile court raided a fake Orsaline factory in Faridpur. At that time, the factory and godown were sealed. Besides, the company has been fined two lakh rupees for producing fake products.
On Tuesday (May 14) night, a team led by District Administration Executive Magistrate ASM Shahadat Hossain raided the food manufacturing company named Rupa Food Products in Hoglakandi area of Kanaipur Union of Sadar Upazila.
According to mobile court sources, the factory was locked from outside. And fake Orsaline was being made inside. Besides, baby food was being made and packaged in the packaging of various companies.
Mobile court executive magistrate ASM Shahadat Hossain said that the company was manufacturing fake Orsaline and baby food without any approval. Under the Consumer Rights Act, factories and godowns have been sealed and fined Tk 2 lakh.
