Raid on the office of the MD of Diamond World

In continuation of the country version, this time the Ministry of Home Affairs is conducting a combing operation against illegal traders. The raid on the MD's office on allegations of illegal business of Diamond World is proof of this.

A raid is underway at the Gulshan office of Diamond World Managing Director (MD) Dilip Kumar Aggarwala on charges of gold-diamond smuggling and money laundering. His office is surrounded by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).

This operation started on Tuesday (September 3) around 10 pm. However, he was reportedly not found there.

Related sources said that although Dilip Kumar Agarwala was not found in this office in Gulshan, searches are being conducted to find out what is inside the office.

Earlier, the Financial Crimes Commission of the Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) launched a money laundering investigation against Diamond World and its interests.

According to CID, Diamond World MD Dilip Kumar Agarwala has been charged with money laundering in the name of importing gold and diamonds through smuggling from abroad.

Apart from this, allegations have also been leveled against Diamond World that fake and fake glass pieces were being sold as diamonds instead of genuine diamonds through nominal showrooms in various districts.
