The Meteorological Department has predicted an increase in rain amid the uncomfortably hot weather in the middle of Bhadra. Rain is likely to increase next Monday and Tuesday.
The Meteorological Department said that a low pressure has formed in the Bay of Bengal. The effect of monsoon has decreased. It may cause light to moderate rain in some parts of the country. Along with that, there may be moderate heavy rainfall at some places.
Meteorologist Shahnaz Sultana said, as it is raining now, it will rain like this for two more days. Heat is increasing due to less rain.
According to the regular bulletin of the Meteorological Department, from 9 am on Friday in some places of Mymensingh, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions; Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers temporarily with gusty winds at a few places. Along with that, there may be moderate heavy rain in some parts of the country.
As per the synoptic weather conditions, the low pressure over the central Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is currently over West Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal. The extension of monsoon axis extends over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, low pressure center and central Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
