Referendum will stop the creation of fascists: Religion Adviser

The religious adviser commented that the way to create fascists will be closed through the referendum. A F M Khalid Hossain.

He made this comment while addressing a workshop aimed at creating public awareness about the referendum at the Islamic Foundation Auditorium in Agargaon in the capital on Monday (January 5).

The religious adviser said that once someone gets into power in Bangladesh, they want to prolong their power through various tricks and tricks. This is what has happened in this country in the history of the last 54 years. This situation will change through referendum. Government and opposition parties can work together to form caretaker government, election commission and government work commission.

The advisor also said that the network of Islamic foundations is wide across the country. If it is strengthened, great welfare of the country and nation will be achieved.

He assured to take initiative to convert Islamic Foundation into Directorate.

Under the chairmanship of the Director General of Islamic Foundation Ah Chalam Khan, special assistants of the Chief Adviser Professor Ali Riyaz and Monir Haider, Cabinet Secretary Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid and religious secretary Md. Kamal Uddin.

Professor Ali Riaz said that if Yes wins in the referendum, there will be no more fascists like Hasina in Bangladesh. What will be the future course of Bangladesh in the next 50 years will be determined through referendum. Imams are urged to play an active role in creating public awareness about the referendum. More than four hundred scholars and Islamic Foundation field level officials from all over the country participated in this day-long workshop.
