Resignation of Pabiprobi-Yabiprobi proctors campus

Pabna Science and Technology University (Pabiprabi) Proctor Associate Professor Dr. Masud Rana and director of student advisory office associate professor Dr. Md. Imran Hussain has resigned.

Apart from this, the members of Jessore University of Science and Technology (YABIPRABI) Proctoral Body have resigned due to the demands of the students. At the same time, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Iqbal Kabir Zahid and private secretary of the vice-chancellor. Abdur Rashid also resigned.

It is known that on Monday (August 19) at noon, the proctor and the director of the student advisory office submitted their resignations through a letter to the Pabiprobi registrar. This was confirmed by the registrar of the university, Bijan Kumar Brahm. Both of them mentioned in the letter that they resigned voluntarily citing family and personal reasons.

According to university sources, in the face of students' demands, on August 14, former proctor Dr. Kamal Hossain and student adviser Dr. Md. Nazmul Hossain was removed and appointed to that position. But after five days they voluntarily resigned. Various discussions have started on this.

In this regard, the director of the student advisory office, associate professor Dr. Imran Hossain said, I actually did not want to join this post. Then madam gave it to me. But I resigned due to some personal problems.

Proctor Associate Professor Dr. Masood Rana's mobile phone was not answered when contacted multiple times on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, in view of the demands of the students, all the members of the Proctoral Body of Yabi Prabir, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Private Secretary of the Vice-Chancellor have submitted their resignations.

In this regard, the registrar of the university, Engineer Md. Ahsan Habib said, I have received the copy of the resignation letter of the Dean and the Vice-Chancellor's Private Secretary of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University. But the resignation letter of the proctorial body has not reached me yet.

Earlier, on Monday (August 19) at around 12 noon, the students started the procession from the main gate of the university, visited the residence of the vice-chancellor and the dormitory and again gathered in front of the main gate. At that time, they demanded the resignation of the vice chancellor and all his officials. Later, the students raised various slogans by idolizing the vice-chancellor.
