Saboteurs are terrorists, suppress them with firm hands: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, those who are doing sabotage now, none of them are students. They are terrorists. I appeal to the countrymen to suppress these terrorists with strong hands.

The prime minister said this after a meeting of the National Committee on Security on Sunday (August 4).

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a meeting with the National Committee on Security at Ganobhaban after 11:00.

There are 29 members of this committee including the Minister-State Minister, Security Advisor, Secretary, Chief of Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, BGB, Coast Guard, Forces Intelligence and NSI.

The work of the National Committee on Security is to review all issues and activities related to the security and defense of the country; Assessment of the country's internal security situation; Giving instructions to take necessary measures on matters related to the security of the country and formulating recommendations to the Cabinet as necessary and related matters.
