That official managed him an engine-powered trawler for a large amount of money. Salman boarded the trawler from the Kanchan Bridge area of ​​the capital's 300 feet road.

He took satellite phone, currency of different countries, necessary materials with him. He called his close former law minister Anisul Haque as a partner. The boat goes straight to Bhola. All food and essential items are taken from the middle of the journey.

They floated in the Bay of Bengal for seven consecutive days. Looking for an opportunity to cross Myanmar. In between, he went to the Indian border area of ​​Sundarbans to cross into India. According to DMP sources, on August 13, Salman F Rahman and Anisul Haque were trying to escape, and a police team went on a raid in the capital's Sadarghat area after receiving information from intelligence sources. The two leaders thought it was a safe route and tried to escape by sea, when they were arrested from there.

The next day on August 14, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid granted a ten-day remand to both of them in the case of murdering shop employee Shahjahan Ali (24) in Newmarket area.

After the first round of remand, Salman and Anisul were remanded for 10 days in two cases filed in connection with the murder of Honors fourth year student Sabuj Ali (26) in Newmarket area on August 24 and Khalid Hasan Saifullah, another class eleven student in Lalbagh. They were killed during the quota reform movement on July 16 and 18.

After that, the court remanded them for 5 days in the case filed in the case of death of Sumon Sikder (31) during the anti-discrimination student movement in Badda, Dhaka on August 29.

Citing Salman, investigative sources said that half of the 1.5 lakh crore rupees smuggled out of the country through S Alam was given to Sheikh Rehana and Sajeeb Wazed Joy. These irregularities took place under the direct supervision of the then Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Abdur Rauf Talukder. But no one dared to say 'to' in these matters.
