The families of two victims held a joint press conference against a fraudulent house owner named Mahabub Rahman in Phaitong Union of Lama Upazila of Bandarban. The press conference was organized on Monday (June 3) at 5 pm in the Nayapara area of ​​Faitong Union at the opposition land.

Md. Aktar Hossain, son of land buyer Shamshul Alam, read a written statement against the fraudulent land owner Mahabub Rahman and Md. Forkan Uddin, son of another buyer, Mashuk Ahmed, was present at the press conference.

In a written statement, Md. Aktar Hossain said, Mahabub Rahman, son of the deceased Haji Abdu Jalil of Faitong Union of Lama Upazila, is the owner of 2 acres of 80th century land at No. 306 Faitong Mouzar No. 28 Khatian of Faitong Union of Lama Upazila. The entire land of the said Khatian was sold to Mashuk Ahmad, son of Ahmad Hochan of the same area, and Samshul Alam, son of Chalamat Ali, on October 5, 1994, at a price of Tk 3,15,000. Document No. 615/1994. After the sale, the seller, on various pretexts, makes excuses for delisting.

Both parties filed a court case regarding this which is still ongoing. But Mahabub Rahman has been delaying the registration for years by claiming that it will be done today or tomorrow, using fraud. In this situation, Mahabub Rahman secretly sold 2 acres of 30 century land from the same khatian to his wife Shahanara Begum, son Md Riaz Uddin and Mohang Hochan's son Ahmad Ullah. whose document no-1346/2009.

On the other hand, to Hafiz Md. Jahidul, the son of the deceased Haji Islam of this owner area, from the said khatian on July 31, 2018, the 20th century (whose document is no. 431/2018), in the year 2022, in the name of Shahidullah Mintur, the 39th century (whose document is no. 314/22), of Jahedul Islam. In 2022, 54th century (which is Deed No. 86/22), Abul Kashem 6th century (which is Deed No. 313/22) and 2 two acres 10th century (which is Deed No. 627/22) in the name of Zafar Alam. .

Buyers Mashuk Ahmad and Samshul Alam Gong Lama filed a case in the Upazila Magistrate's Court after getting the news of Mahabub Rahman's fraud and satami. Whose case no- CR 224/22nd. Meanwhile, the land takers Mashuk Ahmad and Samshul Alam died after going around the court without getting registration for years. This dispute has been going on for the last 30 years and the two families are begging on the street after getting stuck in the legal trap. The sons/daughters of the victim family sought the help of the government to take legal action against the fraudster Mahabub Rahman through the media.
