Shafiqur Rahman should stand in the court of the world with his own faith and culture

Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, the expression of faith is culture. Therefore, excluding culture is not faith, and excluding my faith is not culture. Those who forget their own faith and culture and follow others can never progress. Can't be a self-respecting nation and they fail to lead the nation. So we have to hold on to our own faith, culture and roots and lead the nation and stand tall in the court of the world.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the gathering of poets, writers and artists organized by Sanshikari Oikya Front at the central Kachikachar fair hall of the capital on Saturday.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, in Bangladesh, our culture revolves around our faith. Our beloved homeland Bangladesh is an open abode of people of different religions and castes. There is a diverse mix in this country. Here we are all bound by communal harmony.

He also said that even after the past student movement, we have seen that no miscreant can destroy the bond of harmony, all the temples, churches, churches of the country have been guarded day and night by madrasa students and Islamic party leaders.
