Sheikh Bashiruddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has taken over as the new chairman of the airline Bangladesh Airlines.
He has been appointed as the new chairman through a notification issued on Tuesday (August 27th) from the Air-1 branch of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. It also mentioned that the order issued in the public interest would be effective immediately.
According to the notification, Sheikh Bashiruddin has been appointed as the Chairman of the Article Bangladesh Limited of Bangladesh Airlines Limited in accordance with Article 1 (C) of Bangladesh Air Order 12 (Reorganization and Extension) Act 2021 and the Government.
Sheikh Bashiruddin serves as an advisor to the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and Jute and Jute.
