A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between International Standard University (ISU) and Bankers Welfare Association Bangladesh (BWAB).
Friday (April 26) evening in a hotel in Cox's Bazar, acting treasurer of ISU HTM Quader Newaz and president of BWAB Kazi Md. Shafiqur Rahman signed the MoU.
The MoU signing ceremony was also attended by Registrar of ISU. Faizullah Kaushik, Director (Admission) Gias Uddin, Head of Public Relations Raisul Haque Chowdhury, General Secretary of BWAB. Emdad Hossain and senior officials of both institutions.
Through this agreement, members of Bankers Welfare Association Bangladesh and their family members will get special waiver and scholarship for studying in Honors and Masters courses at International Standard University.
Academic programs at ISU are conducted through January-June and July-December semesters. A total of four departments are functioning in the university under three faculties. Among them are Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) under the Faculty of Business Administration. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology has the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Textile Engineering. Under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences there are BA (Hons) in English and MA in English Literature and Cultural Studies.
