Storm may occur in nine regions of the country, warning number 3 in port

The Meteorological Department has predicted a storm with a speed of 60 km over nine regions of the country. Meanwhile, due to the formation of low pressure in the west-central Bay of Bengal and its adjacent North-West Bay of Bengal, four seaports of the country have been asked to show warning signal number 3. In a warning message signed by Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallick on Saturday (September 7), the Meteorological Department said, the low pressure is moving northwards and intensifying and staying in the same area as a distinct low pressure. It can be more concentrated.

Due to this, there is a lot of variation in air pressure in the North Bay of Bengal area. Gust or stormy winds may blow over North Bay of Bengal, coastal areas and sea ports.

Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to show local warning signal number three and fishing boats and trawlers in North Bay of Bengal to move carefully near the coast until further notice.

According to the regular bulletin of the Department of Meteorology, in the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Saturday, some places in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and a couple of places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thunder.

Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rain in some places in Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.
