Student politics was banned in Duet

Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) has banned all forms of student politics. This announcement has been made subject to the approval of the syndicate as per the decision of the coordination meeting on Tuesday (September 03). Violation will be punished as per rules.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the additional registrar of the university. The matter was informed in a letter signed by Mofizur Rahman.

According to the notification, according to the decision taken by the Dean, Head of Department, Director, Hall Provost, Controller of Examinations, Additional Director, Associate Director (Student Welfare), Assistant Provost and Head of Office in the coordination meeting of the university, subject to the approval of the Syndicate, all kinds of political activities of the students in the university campus. Involvement in the organization and its activities is prohibited.

The notification also said that students who violate the said ban will be punished as per the rules of the university. This notification is issued in the interest of smooth conduct of academic activities of the University.
