Supreme Court officials and families directed to submit asset statement

In order to ensure transparency and accountability, the Supreme Court has been directed to submit the statement of assets of judicial officers and their family members by September 1.

The notification signed by the Registrar General of the Supreme Court, Aziz Ahmad Bhuya, states that it is directed to inform that all judicial officers working in the Bangladesh Judicial Service and their family members (husband/wife, Sons and Daughters) have been directed to submit the statement of assets located in the country and abroad. For that purpose, the Chief Justice has expressed his intention to submit the statement of assets of the judicial officers working in the Supreme Court and their family members in the country and abroad as per the attached form to the office of the Registrar General by September 1.

In this situation, judicial officers working in the Supreme Court and their family members have been directed to submit the statement of assets located in the country and abroad in the attached form to the office of the Registrar General by September 1.

A sample form for filing asset statement is given in the notification. Which has also been published on the website of the Supreme Court.
