Talks between Muhammad Yunus and Elon Mask, 'coming' Starlink

The chief adviser to the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus, was discussed with SpaceX founder and Tesla and X Owner Elon Mask. In the future, details of the opening of cooperation and opening the Sterling Satellite Internet service in Bangladesh have been detailed.

The discussion was virtually between Professor Junu and Elon Musk on Thursday night, Shafiqul Alam, chief adviser, said.

The Press Secretary posted a long post on the discussion on his Verified Facebook page around 9pm on Thursday.

The post was written that during the meeting with Elon Mask, Muhammad Yunus was with Muhammad Yunus, the high representative of Bangladesh for the Rohingya crisis and priority issues. Khalilur Rahman and Lamia Morshed, the chief coordinator of the SDG for Bangladesh. Global Engagement Advisor Lauren Dreyer and Vice President Richard Griffiths were with Elon Mask for Space X.

During the conversation of the video link, Professor Muhammad Yunus and Elon Mask emphasized on the transformative impact of the satellite communication by Sterverlink. Elon Mask highlighted the benefits of his starlink internet, especially in Bangladesh's zealous youth, rural and weak women and remote communities.

Their discussions are of importance- high-cost internet connection is how to adjust digital transformation in Bangladesh. At the same time, they have also discussed the underdeveloped areas and how millions of marginalized people and small entrepreneurs can contribute to the national level through education, health care and economic development.

During the discussion, Nobel laureate Professor Yunus said that the connection of Sterlink in Bangladesh's infrastructure will create new opportunities for millions of people and integrate the digital economy of the country more closely worldwide.

The chief adviser to the government said that the Starslelink Grameen Bank and Grameen Phone will be an expansion, which will be the guide to connect the women and youth of the village to the world. They will become women and children worldwide and world entrepreneurs.

During this discussion, Elon Mask praised the Grameen Bank and the micro -credit model; Professor Yunus was appreciated by acknowledging its global impact on poverty alleviation.

Mask, founder of Tesla Motors, said he has been familiar with Grameen Bank and Grameen Village Phone for many years.

Mask said, “If technical progress like Sterling is applied, innovation, economic empowerment and financial inclusion in Bangladesh will go further.”

Professor Yunus Starlink invited Elon Mask to visit Bangladesh to start a possible journey for national development, which he accepted positively.

In response to the invitation, the mask said, “I'm waiting for it.”

Both sides have agreed to make the initiative the rapid progress and they have agreed to take the work through coordination, wrote the press secretary.
