The Central Bank will give Tk 5 crore to the victims of the student movement


The central bank will give 5 crore rupees to the foundation formed to help the victims of the violence in various programs of the anti-discrimination student movement, starting from quota reform in government jobs and demanding the fall of the government.

This information was informed by Bangladesh Bank on Thursday (August 29).

On the other hand, thousands of people have been killed and more than four hundred people have lost their sight in the quota reform and government overthrow movement, said Noorjahan Begum, health advisor of the interim government.

He said that the government will take responsibility of the families of those who were killed during the agitation and those who were injured would be given free treatment.

Noorjahan Begum said that more than 1,000 people have been killed and more than 400 students have lost their sight in the anti-discrimination movement. Many have become blind in one eye, many have lost sight in both eyes. We have spoken with the organization called Service of America. We have sent the list of those who have become blind or have eye problems to Seva Foundation.
