The father died in 'beating' while trying to save the boys

Sadar upazila of Noakhali to save the boys from the attack 'beaten'. A father named Salim (50) was killed. The incident took place on Saturday (April 4) in Gauripur village of ward number 4 of Dadpur union of the upazila.

According to local sources, Selim's son Antar and some teenagers named Sajal, Shaon, Fahad and Riaz had a dispute over senior-junior issues. Antar and Sajal had an argument over the phone on Saturday afternoon. At around 7 pm, Sajal and his accomplices came in front of Antar's house and pelted bricks. When Antar's elder brother Shakeel stepped forward, the situation became heated.

After hearing the noise, he came out of his shop next to the house to protect the boys. Salim. Allegedly, the accused then beat up Salim and hit him severely on the head. He became unconscious. Locals rescued him and took him to Noakhali General Hospital with 250 beds, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

The victim's elder son, Shakeel, alleged that their house was attacked and his father beaten to death in a planned manner due to an earlier dispute.

Killed Selim's younger brother. Anwar Hussain said, “My brother gave his life to save his sons. Those who committed the murder are members of the juvenile gang. We want justice.”

President of Dadpur Union Farmers Party. Salim said, “Deceased Salim was an ordinary farmer. He also earned his livelihood by selling tea. He was known as an active worker of the farmers' party. We have demanded exemplary punishment for those involved in the murder.”

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sudharam Model Police Station. Tauhidul Islam said, “There was a fight between the two parties based on the senior-junior conflict. At that time, Salim was present at the scene and was injured. When he was brought to the hospital, the doctor declared Tak dead. Legal action will be taken if a written complaint is received.”
