Pilgrims flocked to pray the holy Eid-ul-Fitr at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. The first congregation of Eid was held in this mosque on Thursday (April 11) at 7 am.

Meanwhile, after the Fajr prayers on Thursday, the worshipers started coming to the National Mosque from different areas of Dhaka to offer prayers. Apart from this Jamaat, four more Eid Jamaats will be held in Baitul Mukarram.

The second congregation will be held at 8 am. Imam Hafez Maulana Mufti Muhiuddin Qasem will lead the Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Mukabbir will be the muezzin of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque (retd.) Hafez Md. Ataur Rahman.

The third congregation, will be held at 9 am. Imam Hafez Maulana Imran Bin Nooruddin will perform the Imam in front of Azimpur Cemetery Mayor Hanif Jame Masjid. Mukabbir will be Khadem of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Abdul Hadi.

Meanwhile, a notification from the National Assembly has informed that the holy Eid-ul-Fitr congregation will be held at the South Plaza of the Parliament at 8:30 am on the day of Eid. The chief whip of the national parliament, whips, members of the cabinet, members of parliament and officials and employees of the parliament secretariat will participate in this congregation. This congregation is open to all.

This time, apart from the National Eidgah Maidan in the capital, the two city corporations have organized 360 more congregations.
