The ministry gave the instructions to the DCs to maintain a fair environment in the educational institutions

The Ministry of Education has instructed the District Administrators to maintain the overall fair environment of the educational institutions in the ongoing situation of the country. This instruction was given in an office order of the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (August 27).

It is said that in various parts of the country, an unpleasant situation has arisen in view of various complaints against the heads or other officials of some universities, colleges and schools demanding their resignation or removal. In some places, teachers have been personally harassed and the law and order situation has deteriorated. This situation is not desirable at all.

The vice-chancellor, vice-chancellor or other officers at the university level can voluntarily resign and the chancellor can remove them in accordance with the law, the order said, calling for any specific complaint against the teachers to be brought to Maushi.

Heads of institutions like government schools-colleges or others can investigate and take appropriate action including transfers to the Secondary and Higher Education Department or the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (MAUSI) if necessary. Similarly the management committee or Maushi can take action in case of private educational institutions. In this case, if a specific complaint is sent about that teacher or official, the concerned department or department will investigate and take appropriate measures.

It is said in the directive that the public administration of the country has always played an important role for the improvement of education management and environment of education. In the existing situation, the District Administrators have been instructed to keep in touch with the teachers, students, guardians and other concerned representatives of the educational institutions to supervise the maintenance of the overall fair environment and inform the secondary and higher education department if necessary.
