Police have rescued Azadul Hai Pannu from Khulna after missing about two and a half months.

He was rescued from Khulna city on Thursday morning.

The senior assistant police superintendent of Doha Circle confirmed the matter. Ashraful Alam.

The police officer said, Dhaka district superintendent said. Police conducted the operation with the help of information technology under the direction of Anisuzzaman.

Md. Ashraful Alam said the initial interrogation revealed that Azadul Hai Pannu was in hiding for personal reasons. After his rescue, he was explained to the family and political colleagues. He is currently healthy and well, the police officer said.

It is to be noted that the BNP leader left the house on January 5. On January 5, his son made a GD at Nawabganj police station on January 5 after his mobile was closed. He was still not found. BNP Secretary General Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the statement expressed concern over the incident on March 7.

BNP leader Azadul Islam demanded the government and the law enforcers to immediately find Hi Pannu and transfer him to his family.

The leaders of the Upazila BNP and allied organizations organized human chain and protests on the same demand on Wednesday.
