The navy destroyed the native brewery in the hills

The Navy found a local brewery in the hills at Maheshkhali in Cox's Bazar. Later, the wine and wine cellars were destroyed. On Sunday (September 8), the operation was carried out at the foot of the hill at a place called Muhurighona of Chhota Maheshkhali Union of Maheshkhali Upazila.

According to the Navy, a wine-making shelter located at the foot of the hill was found at a place called Muhurighona in Chhota Maheshkhali Union of Maheshkhali Upazila. Then the Navy Maheshkhali Contingent went on a raid early on Sunday morning.

During the operation, 200 liters of salable liquor, two barrels of liquor in process, 6 drums of raw materials for brewing and various equipments for brewing were recovered. Later the wine and brewing equipment and the astana were destroyed. At that time, the Navy also said that no one was found at the scene.

The navy also said that in order to implement the directives of the current government, the navy has been conducting regular joint operations to recover illegal and looted weapons in areas under the responsibility of the navy including Maheshkhali.
