Misha Saudagar was elected president and Manowar Hossain Dipzal general secretary in the biennial election of Bangladesh Film Artists Association for 2024-26 term. The newly elected committee members of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association met with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal after being elected. It is known that they met at the Home Minister's house on Sunday (April 21) night.
Misha Saudagar was elected president and Manowar Hossain Dipzal general secretary in the biennial election of Bangladesh Film Artists Association for 2024-26 term. At that time, Misha-Dipjal was accompanied by actresses Rozina, Ratna, Shahnoor, actor Aliraj and selected executive members. All of them contested and won elections from the Misha-Zayed panel.
Masum Parvez Rubel (231) and D A Tayeb (234), Joint General Secretary Arman (237), Organizing Secretary Joy Chowdhury (255), International Affairs won the post of vice-president in the bi-annual election of Film Artists Association for 2024-26. Secretary Alexander Bo (296), Office and Publicity Secretary Jackie Alamgir (245), Culture and Sports Secretary Mamnoon Hasan Imon (235) and Treasurer Kamal (231). Last Friday (April 19) the voting started at the Shilpi Samiti office of FDC and ended at 6.20 pm. According to the Election Commission sources, 475 votes were counted out of 570 votes.
