The next hearing in MP Anna's murder case is on September 13

The next hearing of the murder case of former Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anna of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency has been fixed on September 13. Barasat Court of West Bengal gave this order.

Although Kasai Jihad was produced in court on Friday, Siam was not produced in court due to illness. Both will be produced together in the court on the next date of hearing.

Earlier, on August 16, the CID of West Bengal Police had submitted the first charge sheet of 263 pages to the court based on a total of 101 witnesses and evidence. The charge sheet names Jihad Howladar and Siam. However, the chargesheet did not say anything about the reason for the murder.

According to a section of the investigators, it would have been easier for the accused to get bail if the charge sheet had not been filed. A charge sheet has been presented to the court to stop him. And the reason for the murder cannot be given until the investigation is over. Moreover, the main accused in this case has not yet been interrogated.

According to the chargesheet, both have been booked under sections 364, 302, 201 and 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Each is a non-bailable clause. 364 means kidnapping with intent to kill. 302 culpable homicide. 201 Loss of information, i.e. planned removal of arms and body and 120B Criminal conspiracy (combination of several persons). That is, the judge can give life sentence or death sentence as the maximum sentence in such cases.

On May 23, Jihad Howladar was caught by the intelligence police from the area under Gopal Nagar police station of Bangaon region. On the other hand, on June 7, CID said that Siam Hossain was arrested from Bangaon area of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal bordering Bangladesh.

Anar was a three-time Member of Parliament from Jhenaidah-4 Constituency. At the same time, Anwarul Azim Anar was the president of Kaliganj Upazila Awami League. On May 11, he went to India for medical treatment and stayed at the house of his friend gold merchant Gopal Biswas in Barahnagar, Kolkata. He got out of there and disappeared. Then on May 18, when Gopal Biswas lodged a complaint with the local police station, the investigation began. In the meantime, the police said that on May 22, MP Annar was killed in Sanjiba Gardens, New Town.

CID of India recovered pieces of meat, hair from the septic tank and waste pipe-line after searching the flat. There is no clear information about whether they belong to Anwarul Azim. However, the CID said after a few days that the body parts of those people are special. A DNA test will make it clear. Anna's daughter Doreen was also supposed to come to India for that reason. But recently it was known that Doreen could not come to Bangladesh because of Andorr.
