An aircraft got stuck on the footover bridge on the road in front of the gate of BAF Shaheen College in the capital. Yesterday Sunday (March 31) around 10:30 pm, an airplane got stuck in the footoverbridge on the Mahakhali road from Bijay Sarani in the capital.
This caused some traffic jams on that road. The old aircraft was being transported by a large truck. This happened at this time. Later, if the tail of the aircraft is opened, it gets a chance to move forward.
Locals said that the incident took place in front of the gate of BAF Shaheen College in the capital. The old aircraft was being taken in a truck (trailer). The wings on both sides of the plane had already been opened. But the tail of the aircraft got stuck with the footoverbridge. The truck also gets stuck under the footoverbridge.
Bangladesh Navy was written on the blue-white Dornier 228 turboprop aircraft. It is one of the two Maritime Patrol Aircraft inducted into the Navy in 2013. From the outside, it was clear that some parts of the aircraft had already been opened. A few workers brought a fork lift and removed the tail of the aircraft shortly after it got stuck. Later, the aircraft-carrying truck got a chance to free itself from under the footoverbridge and move forward.
However, before that, the members of the traffic police on duty made arrangements for the traffic to pass. Around 10:30 PM, the truck left for Mahakhali with the aircraft.
