The police set a time limit to submit the looted weapons

Action will be taken if the looted weapons of the police are not voluntarily surrendered by September 3, the police headquarters said.

A press release signed by Inamul Haque Sagar, AIG (Media & PR) of Police Headquarters on Tuesday (August 27) informed that some of the weapons and ammunition looted by the police have already been recovered. The operation to recover the remaining looted arms and ammunition is continuing.

Any person in possession of such arms and ammunition is requested to submit them to the nearest police station by September 3. Otherwise legal action will be taken against them.
