The policeman who grabbed the student's face was dismissed

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Shahbag Police Station Inspector (Operation) who came to the discussion holding a student's face during the anti-discrimination student movement. Arshad Hossain has been suspended.

Monday (August 19) Police Commissioner of DMP. He was suspended by an office order signed by Mainul Hasan.

According to DMP, inspector Arshad Hossain grabbed the face of Nahidul Islam, a student of political science department of Dhaka's New Model Degree College, during the 'March for Justice' program of the anti-discrimination student movement on July 31. Due to his unprofessional activities, the image of the police has been damaged along with creating a negative impression of the people about the police activities. In view of which he was temporarily suspended.

DMP also said that there are many other allegations against police inspector Arshad Hossain apart from pressing the face of the agitating students.
