The price of commemorative gold coins increased

Bangladesh Bank has increased the price of commemorative gold coins due to the increase in the price of gold in the international and local markets. This information was informed in a Central Bank circular on Thursday (August 29).

The new prices will be effective from Sunday (September 1).

According to the notification, the value of commemorative gold coins titled 'International Mother Language Day-2000', 'Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman 1920-2020' and 'Golden Jubilee of Independence 1971-2021' has been revised.

10 grams of 22 carat gold, 'International Mother Language Day-2000', 'Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary 1920-2020' and 'Golden Jubilee of Independence 1971-2021' commemorative gold coins (with box) selling price of Tk 1 lakh and fifteen thousand each Rescheduled.
