He said, at this time, there was talk about helping to solve the Rohingya crisis, who have taken refuge in Bangladesh after being tortured by the Myanmar army.
Climate change is now a big crisis in both countries. Mentioning that there has been a discussion about working together to deal with it, he further said that Brazil will support Bangladesh for its inclusion in BRICS. And it was discussed in this meeting that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Brazil next July.
In this meeting Bangladesh and Brazil signed an agreement on technical cooperation and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of sports.
Earlier, after landing in Dhaka, the Brazilian Foreign Minister visited the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 Dhanmondi and paid his respects. Then Saujanya met with the Minister of State for Commerce. Whereas Bangladesh has expressed interest in bringing animals from Brazil in view of Eid al-Adha.
