In one case, it took 16 years to recover the laundered money. But it won't take long now. The government is working on this. At the same time, the prices of visible goods will come down in a few months.

Are the reforms that were talked about after the current government took office visible? In response to such questions from journalists, the financial advisor said, of course, it has become visible. Many things are visible. For example, measures have been taken regarding defaulted loans. Banks which had problems are being reorganized. The governor has solved the liquidity crisis of the banks.

He said, “We have already said that a task force will be formed to bring back the money laundered.” At the same time talking about reforms, they are quite visible.

The government has been able to reduce the price of everyday goods? In response to such a question, the financial adviser said, no, the prices of goods are not falling. Prices have gone up for many reasons and cannot be brought down quickly. But you can see within a few months if there is visible reduction or not.

Salehuddin Ahmed said, I have reduced the duty of potato and onion, and they have been instructed to ensure it. Apart from this, I talked about fish, meat, eggs and market monitoring.

When asked how soon the price reduction will be visible, he said, “The task force is already underway.”

When asked what was discussed with the representatives of the buying house, the advisor said, they said that many times orders are given through the buying house without the director. Also helps in export. There are some such things. For example, solving the problems related to EPB registration, bank, order will increase exports. We have said that exports will increase by 50 billion. They said it will exceed 100 billion. I said, we will see it, we will do what is best.
