The resignation of the president of Jobir's marketing department is demanded

President of Jagannath University (JOB) Marketing Department. General students have given a 24-hour ultimatum demanding the resignation of Zaheer Uddin Arif.

They gave this ultimatum demanding voluntary resignation of the president on Sunday (August 18) at 12 noon. The students of that department called for resignation by 11 o'clock tomorrow Monday.

Meanwhile, at 12:30 noon, students staged a protest in front of Rafiq Bhavan demanding the resignation of Chairman Zahir Uddin. At that time they chanted various slogans demanding the president's resignation.

Then at 1 o'clock the university treasurer and professor of marketing department came to the protesting students. Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury. He said, the relationship with the students is the point of greatest pride for me as a teacher. I know you in the marketing department are suffering because of the president. Some of your logical claims came to me. Certain legal procedures have to be followed to remove the President. However, I will confirm the resignation of the president as a teacher of the department.

The students of the department also issued a statement titled 'Clear statement' demanding the chairman's resignation. It is said that we all the students of Jobi's Marketing Department express this statement with deep concern and indignation that our president stands against the common students in the ongoing anti-discrimination student movement and behaves intimidatingly with the students involved in the movement. Also due to Chairman Zaheer Uddin Arif the quality of education in the department has decreased and students' rights are being violated. Through which the students are being neglected.

Therefore, the chairman has to resign voluntarily within the next 24 hours. Otherwise, we will be forced to adopt more stringent programs,” the students said in the statement.
