The smugglers left a truckload of Indian blankets in the border area of ​​Haluaghat upazila and fled. The incident took place in Shalabazar area of ​​the upazila on Tuesday (September 3) morning.

Gobrakura BGB Camp Commander Naik Subedar Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.

According to BGB sources, the smugglers were entering Haluaghat with a truckload of Indian blankets through the border area of ​​the upazila. When the BGB and anti-discrimination students approached the truck full of blankets, the smugglers abandoned the truck and ran away. Later, a truck full of 258 pitch blankets was seized and taken to Gobrakura BGB camp.
