The students welcomed the principal who was forced to resign with flowers

A section of students forced the resignation of Sheikh Russel Textile Institute Principal ABM Saifur Rahman in Jamalpur's Motherganj. Seven days after the resignation, another section of students brought the principal back.

Yesterday Thursday (August 29) afternoon, Principal ABM Saifur Rahman was welcomed with flower garlands. The principal was then seated in his chair.

After the resignation of the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, some students of the textile institute started a movement demanding the resignation of the principal, alleging irregularities and non-cooperation in the student movement. At one stage of the movement, Principal Saifur Rahman resigned on August 22. Seven days after the resignation, another group of students of the same institution brought the principal back and welcomed him with garlands around his neck and seated him in his chair.

The students who brought back the principal said that some students in the hostel forced the principal to resign for personal gain. Later we (students) took the initiative and brought back our sir.

Principal ABM Saifur Rahman said, 'I am moved by the love of the students. I am eternally grateful to them. No grudge against those who forced me to resign. I am seeking everyone's cooperation so that I can run the organization well.'
