The total collection of public relief program in DU is 1 crore 42 lakh

Severe floods have occurred in some districts of the country. In the ongoing flood situation, thousands of people came to DU to deliver relief in the 'Ganatrana' program on the initiative of anti-discrimination student movement for the second day. Starting from private cars, trucks, CNG, rickshaws or by hand, many people brought money and relief materials. 1 crore 42 lakh 50 thousand 196 taka collected through cash and mobile banking till midnight on Friday (August 23).

Meanwhile, today Saturday (August 24) the relief program will start at 8 am and continue till 10 pm like the third day.

They brought food, clothes, medicine and necessary items for the flood victims in different transports from different places of the capital on the initiative of individuals or organizations. Many people have come in their private cars to deliver relief goods. Moreover, in the afternoon, a covered van of BGB was filled and delivered to the relief students.

Over two hundred student volunteers are seen working non-stop to collect huge amounts of relief. Sometimes they struggle to empty the relief fleet. The coordinator and co-coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement are seen supervising these.

The TSC cafeteria and games room were full by afternoon due to the large amount of relief items arriving throughout the day. Later relief materials started being piled on the balcony of TSC. Huge stacks of relief materials can also be seen on the balcony of TSC. Volunteers form a human line and deliver relief inside from the TSC gate.
