Recently, US President Donald Trump claimed that America is interested in working jointly with Iran on collecting tolls for shipping through Hormuz. He claimed that Iran has started collecting money from all the ships passing through Hormuz for the past few weeks. White House spokeswoman Carolyn Levitt claimed that US-Iranian talks on Hormuz could continue for about two weeks. He informed that all channels will be opened soon. However, instead of that, Iran completely closed the Strait of Hormuz within 24 hours of the American cease-fire.
