Thinking something alternative to the election would be dangerous: the chief adviser

The chief adviser said there is no alternative without the election. Muhammad Yunus has said that if anyone thinks of the election alternative, it will be deeply dangerous for the nation.

He said this during a meeting with political parties on Sunday (August 8th).

After the meeting, Chief Advisor Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the chief adviser gave a clear message about the upcoming national elections in the meeting with BNP, Jamaat and NCP leaders. He said that in February, national elections will be held in a free, fair and festive atmosphere.

The chief adviser added that there is no alternative without elections. If someone thinks of an alternative other than an election, it will be deeply dangerous for the nation.

The meeting sought the help of political parties so that no one could create any unstable environment around the upcoming Durga Puja. Yunus.

The press secretary said, in the midst of today's meetings, the Vice-President of the National Commonity Commission with the chief adviser. Ali Riaz and Special Assistant Munir Haider of the chief adviser also met. Ali Riaz informed the chief adviser about the progress of the July certificate. Besides, there has been discussion on what the political parties have given the opinion of the implementation of the July Charter.
