This time, 168 judges were transferred simultaneously

168 judges of the ranks of Additional District Judge, Joint District Judge, Senior Assistant Judge and Assistant Judge have been transferred together. On Sunday (September 8), a notification has been issued by the Law and Justice Department of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs to transfer these lower court judges.

Among the transferred judges are 114 Senior Assistant Judges and Assistant Judges, 47 Additional District Judges and 7 Joint District Judges.

According to the Law and Justice Department, these officers of the Bangladesh Judicial Service have been transferred as per the consultation with the Supreme Court.

It is also known that the transferred Additional District Judges have been instructed to join the transferred workplace immediately after assigning the responsibility of the current post on September 12 with the designated officer of the District and Sessions Judge/Metropolitan Sessions Judge/Head Office.
