This time 3 police officers on compulsory retirement

This time three police officers have been sent on compulsory retirement. This was stated in a separate notification issued by the Public Security Wing of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (August 21).

Among them Md. Asaduzzaman was working as Additional Commissioner of Police (DIG) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Also Md. Anwar Hossain Deputy Inspector General of Police, Directorate of Police, Dhaka (Additional IG Supernumerary) and Md. Atiqul Islam was working in Additional Inspector General of Police, Directorate of Police.

According to the notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs, according to the provisions of Section 45 of Government Service 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018), they were given retirement from government service in public interest.

He will be entitled to retirement benefits as per rules. This order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.
