This time fire service is giving one day's salary for flood disaster

Fire service and civil defense officials are donating the equivalent of one day's salary to help the flood-affected people of the country.

The fire service announced this information in a press release on Sunday (August 25). According to the press release, this morning in a meeting chaired by Director (Administration and Finance) Mohammad Mozammel Haque in the conference room of the Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense, relief of one day's basic salary of the officials and employees working in the revenue sector due to the severe floods in different districts of the country. And it was decided to give to the welfare fund.

In the meeting, the officers and employees of all levels of the directorate, including the directors, were physically present and the department and district officers were connected online. The entire amount will be deposited in the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund within a day.

Meanwhile, Fire Service and Civil Defense handed over a check of Tk 10 lakh to the relief fund for flood victims to the coordinators of anti-discrimination student movement this morning.

Apart from this, a temporary control room of fire service and civil defense has been opened in Feni along with the central monitoring cell to conduct the rescue operations of the flood victims of the country.
