Farmers are in trouble due to unrelenting rains in Sharankhola of Bagerhat. Hundreds of acres of Aman paddy fields have been submerged under water due to heavy rains.

Due to two consecutive days of heavy rain, mountains collapsed in two places of Khagrachari district headquarters, but there was no major damage. On the other hand, the water level of Chengi river increased and flooded the low-lying areas of Khagrachari.

Road communication between Bandarban and Thanchi has been severed due to heavy rains. Meanwhile, road communication with Alikadam upazila and district headquarter has been cut off due to flooding.

More than two hundred families are trapped in Naikshyongchari due to inundation of lower areas by rainwater. Meanwhile, public life in Netrakona is suffering due to rain. Low income people are the most affected.

Normal life is disrupted in Barisal city due to adverse weather conditions. In continuous rain, people are not leaving their houses without necessity.
