Thunderstorm forecast in 11 districts including Dhaka

Along with that there may be rain or thunder. Therefore, the river ports of these areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1.

Yesterday, Sunday (August 18), another notification of the Meteorological Office said that light to moderate rain with thunder may occur temporarily in most places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions till 6 pm today. . Along with this, the Meteorological Office has also predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. During this time the temperature of the country may decrease slightly.

Cox's Bazar has recorded the highest rainfall of 194 mm in the previous 24 hours from 6 pm on Sunday. Apart from this, many areas recorded rainfall including 88 mm in Sitakunda, 82 mm in Kumarkhali, 63 mm in Jessore, 56 mm in Sandwip, 56 mm in Kutubdia and Bandarban, 47 mm in Teknaf and 44 mm in Tentulia. At the same time, the Meteorological Office recorded the maximum rainfall of 43 mm in Dhaka.
