Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the largest festivals of Muslims, is being celebrated on Wednesday (April 10) in various countries of the world, including Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia in Southeast Asia. The Muslims of these countries offer Eid prayers with great enthusiasm.

There are 30 fasts in different countries of the world including Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, but 29 fasts in Malaysia and Indonesia. This year, the holy month of Ramadan began on March 12 in both the countries. As such, Tuesday was the 29th day of Ramadan in these two countries.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia tried to see the moon of the holy month of Shawwal or Eid. Because of this, the Muslims of the country fasted on Tuesday (April 9) as well. As a result they are going to celebrate Eidul Fitr on Wednesday after completing 30 fasts.

30 days of fasting have been completed in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain and war-torn Palestine. These countries will celebrate Eid with Saudi Arabia.

Australia is the first in the world to announce this year's Eid-ul-Fitr. Muslims of the country are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. US, UK, Canada, Turkey, Iran will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. Eid will be on Wednesday in other countries of Europe and America.

The moon of the holy month of Shawwal has been sighted in three states of India. However, the moon was not seen in most of the regions, including the country's capital, Delhi.

According to Hindustan Times, the moon of the month of Shawwal has been sighted in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Kerala. As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr celebration has been announced in these regions on Wednesday (April 10). Eid will be celebrated on Thursday in those areas where the moon was not seen on Tuesday.

Imams of Delhi's Jama Masjid and Fatehpur Masjid authorities announced on Tuesday that Eid would be celebrated on Thursday as the moon was not sighted.

Meanwhile, the Muslim-dominated country of South Asia, Pakistan, also saw the moon of the holy month of Shawwal on Tuesday. The moon is seen in the western sky in different parts of the country. As a result, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Wednesday.

Shawwal moon was seen in Pakistan and some parts of India but it was not seen in Bangladesh. As a result, the worshipers of Bangladesh will observe 30 fasts this time.
