Today is the holy Akheri Chahar Somba

The Persian phrase 'Akheri Chahar Somba' means 'Last Wednesday'. Following the Companions, Muslims give charity on this day. Day of Remission of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW.

On the last Wednesday of the month of Safar in the year 23 Hijri, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recovered after a long illness. The day is observed with reverence and religious solemnity by the Muslim world.

At the beginning of 23 Hijri, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) fell seriously ill. Due to the gradual deterioration of his condition, he could not even lead the prayers. 28 tour he recovered. On that day, the Prophet (pbuh) took a bath for the last time and led the prayer. The companions were excited by the news of his recovery and donated thousands of gold coins. But the next day he fell ill again. After 15 days on 12 Rabiul Awal, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) passed away.
