Truck-Private Car Collision in Kalihati, 2 killed

Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a private car in Kalihati, Tangail. 4 more people were injured in this incident. The injured have been rescued and sent to Tangail General Hospital. The casualty was not immediately identified.

The accident took place in front of the Bangabandhu Textile Engineering College (BTech) in Bagutia, a sub-district on the Tangail-Mymensingh regional highway on Thursday (June 13) around 2:30 am.

Elenga highway police outpost in charge Mir Md. Sajedur Rahman said, the private car was going towards Mymensingh. At that time, on reaching Bagutia area, there was a collision with a truck going to Tangail. Two people died on the spot. 4 others were injured. Efforts are on to identify the victims.
