Türkiye has stopped all trade with Israel due to the attack on Gaza.
Turkey's trade ministry says it will freeze trade with Tel Aviv in the Gaza Strip until Israel allows uninterrupted relief and aid to Gaza.
According to BBC news published on Friday (May 3), trade between the two countries was worth 7 billion dollars last year.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz posted on X on Thursday against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In it, he wrote, dictators use such things. He ignored Turkey's people and trade and international trade agreements.
In a statement, Türkiye said there would be a trade freeze on all products. Türkiye became the first Muslim country to recognize Israel in 1949. But relations between the two countries have deteriorated over the past few decades.

Earlier, on Wednesday, the President of the Latin American country Colombia announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Israel. A day later, Turkey also stopped trade with Israel.
On October 7, 1,200 people were killed in the Hamas attack in Israel. Since then, Israeli forces have continued air and ground attacks on Gaza. Gaza's health ministry said that 34,535 Palestinians have been killed in the seven-month-long attack. Most of them are women and children.
