Two passengers of the autorickshaw were killed by the truck

Two passengers of a CNG-powered autorickshaw were killed after being hit by a truck in Mymensingh's Nandale. The accident took place on Monday (April 8) in the Banshatati Fulbaria area of ​​the upazila on Chowrasta-Kendua road.

The deceased are Sathi Akhter (23), wife of Nasir Uddin of Kolahani village of Mithamain upazila of Kishoreganj and Idris Ali (45), son of deceased Intaj Bepari of Bhattacharya village of the same district headquarters.

The officer-in-charge (OC) of Nandail Model Police Station confirmed the matter. Abdul Majeed said that this morning Sathi Akhter was going to his father's house Netrakona with his son from Kishoreganj Sadar. Idris Ali was a passenger in the same autorickshaw. Later, the auto-rickshaw overturned after being hit by the paddy-laden truck at Banshati Fulbaria area of ​​the upazila on Chowrasta-Kendua road. Sathi Akhtar died on the spot.

At that time, Idris Ali was rescued and taken to Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital in Kishoreganj where doctors declared him dead. The truck and the autorickshaw were impounded after the accident, but the drivers of the two vehicles are absconding.
