A multi-time world champion and wrestling icon, The Undertaker, also known as Mark Calaway, is arguably the most beloved character in the history of professional wrestling.

Whether he’s sporting his Dead Man or American Badass persona, Calaway has earned the respect of his peers and fans around the world.

If he says that someone is important, the world better listen. And he recently revealed a current wrestler he believes will blow up soon.

During a recent episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, Calaway spoke about how happy he was to see Gunther win the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam. However, he made sure to mention another WWE superstar who had made an impression on him.

“You know who I had a nice long talk with while I was there — actually it was Monday, it wasn’t SummerSlam, it was Monday in Austin at Raw — was Ludwig Kaiser,” Calaway said, per WrestleTalk. “I’m high on him, too. Obviously Gunther’s a little bit further along, but keep an eye on Kaiser. I think he’s gonna be special. I had a long talk with him.”

“What was really refreshing to me was I was giving him my perspective on what he should be doing, and he was like, ‘That’s what I’ve been feeling, I’ve been feeling all of this’. He’s just been waiting for his opportunity because he’s been in the shadow of Gunther.”

Calaway also paid massive compliments to Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and Damien Priest.

While it’s true that Kaiser has stood by Gunther ever since Imperium debuted on NXT UK in 2019, he has truly come into his own when the stable went to Raw.

Kaiser has proven to be a truly deplorable heel alongside Gunther, cheating to help his leader and executing great matches while sporting a remarkably punchable face.

While he hasn’t won an individual title, it genuinely seems like it will only be a matter of time until he gets his opportunity, especially when someone like Ilja Dragunov or Sheamus won the Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker.
