Upazila BNP leader and 5 people are sued for demanding subscription

A case has been filed against upazila BNP member secretary Tuhin Mridha (40) in the name of five people for demanding subscription in Barguna. Humayun Kabir Milton, son of Mrida Abdus Chatta of Chalavhanga area of ​​Amtali upazila, filed the case as plaintiff. The case was filed in the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court of Amtali Upazila on Thursday (August 29) morning. Later the judge of the court took cognizance of the case and ordered to take FIR to Amtali police station.

The other accused in the case are Amtali Sadar Union BNP joint convener Himu Akon (55), Upazila Youth Dal joint convener Aminul Akon (35), Upazila Youth Dal No. 1 member Samsu Chowkidar (38) and Upazila Youth Dal joint convener Mehdi Hasan Rakib (35).

According to the source of the case, Humayun Kabir Milton, the plaintiff in the case, has a grocery shop in the Kheyaghat area of ​​Amtali Khuria. Amtali Upazila BNP Member Secretary Md. Some people on 15-25 motorbikes led by Tuhin Mridha came in front of that shop. At that time, they demanded 5 lakh rupees from Milton. Later, when the businessman refused to pay the dues demanded by Milton, the accused beat him severely. At that time, the accused looted Milton's shop and looted goods worth Tk 3 lakh. It is also mentioned that the attackers broke the cash box in the shop and took away Tk 2 lakh in cash.

It is also mentioned in the case that since last August 5, the accused accused have been causing terror in the area by going to various institutions and demanding extortion. Apart from this, they went to various unions and looted people's shops, and forcibly took possession of the land in exchange for a large sum of money.

Because of this, Jalal Fakir got angry and attacked us instead, in which some of our people were seriously injured and admitted to the hospital. And Milton, who filed the case, is a member of Awami League. Jalal Fakir filed this case for harassing me with him.
