US Open 2024: How Much Are Tickets to See Djokovic, Alcaraz Live?

The best of the best come together in this year’s US Open 2024, where notable champs like Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic will compete for the first-place title.

This year’s US Open tournaments will be played from August 26 to September 8, 2024. The tennis tournament boasts a prize pool of $75 million, split among singles and doubles champs.

Gauff, Sablenka and Djokovic first hit the court on the tournament’s first day. The trio advanced easily after winning their matches in straight sets. US star Frances Tiafoe also moved onto the next round after defeating Aleksandar Kovacevic.

While the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, has already been chock full of fans, some stragglers and last-minute buyers are keen to get their hands on tickets to see some the best athletes.

Exactly how much are tickets to see the international kings and queens of tennis?

Newsweek took a closer look at the prices of current US Open tickets.

How much are tickets to the US Open 2024?

Prepare your pockets: Single-session and multi-session tickets to the US Open do not run cheap.

Prices are subject to fluctuate, but at the time of publication, seats available on Ticketmaster ranged from $139 to over $23,000.

On the ticket-selling platform, Day Session tickets are offered, with reserved seats and first-come, first-serve access to certain general admission areas. Alternatively, Evening Session passes are available at Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadiums.

Ticket prices vary by match location (Louis Armstrong Stadium, Arthur Ashe Stadium, Grandstand Stadium or Grounds Admission) and some ticket prices increase later into the tournament. Many of these matchups remain unannounced.

A single Grounds pass includes the tennis center grounds and first-come, first-serve access to certain areas of Louis Armstrong and Grandstand Stadiums. At the time of publication, the cheapest GA ticket available online was for $139.80. A daytime GA ticket is nonrefundable, and seating is not guaranteed.

All evening GA tickets appear to be sold out on Ticketmaster.

Comparatively, the best seats available at the Men’s Final at Arthur Ashe Stadium – when fans could potentially watch a match-up between fan-favorites like Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz – will cost a whopping $23,056 per person.

Ground-level tickets for the Women’s Final, which is also the Men’s Doubles Final, range from $2,683 to $11,650.

A ticket to the 2nd Round of the Men’s and Women’s at Arthur Ashe Stadium, slated to take place August 28, 2024, will cost fans $145 per person.

The cheapest ticket available at the Louis Armstrong Stadium is $215.53, the cost of the 2nd Round Men’s/Women’s Competition on August 28. The 2nd Round at the Grandstand goes for the same price.
